A Lifeline for Marriages
January 4, 2019 •

Whether you are just beginning to see signs of marital issues, you have just about given up on your marriage, or you’re already separated or divorced, Retrouvaille is a special program designed to save marriages.

With Christian elements and a Catholic origin, couples of all faiths or no faith are welcome to attend. And according to the Retrouvaille website, as of 2015, more than 76% of couples who attended the program remained married to their spouse five years later.

Retrouvaille isn’t a vacation, retreat, seminar, social gathering or religious conversion experience. And it’s not marriage counseling. The program presenters are married couples and clergy. There is no mediation, only communication between you and your spouse.

The program consists of three phases: the weekend program, a series of two-hour post-session presentations spread over six to 12 meetings, and finally, on-going monthly small group support CORE (Continuing Our Retrouvaille Experience) meetings.

Retrouvaille Weekends will be happening in Jacksonville during three dates in 2019: Feb. 22, June 7 and Oct. 4. To register and learn more, visit www.helpourmarriage.com.
