Registration is now open for the oldest running golf tournament in the diocese. It is being held April 22 at San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville. Proceeds of the tournament help provide services to 17 counties, including aid for those that cannot afford to attend youth programs as well as assist our youth and young adult programming. John F. Lanahan and a few of his good friends ran this tournament for more than 30 years; it is now named in his memory. Registration is open for this year’s tournament. Help support the tournament by registering to play or by becoming a sponsor.

Moving Forward is a day for high school Juniors and Seniors to come together to look forward to Campus Ministry in college. Please promote to your parishioners the new annual High School Senior and Junior Day of Reflection. The focus of the day is to encourage young people to become involved in campus ministry when they enter college in the fall. We also want juniors and seniors from the diocese to connect before heading off to college. This event is Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the University of North Florida. Registration is through their high school campus minister, parish youth minister or the Youth and Young Adult Ministry. Email email@example.com.

The Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios in St. Augustine is known for its quiet, and historic sacred grounds which attracts visitors from all over the world. But community members and neighbors to the shrine voiced concerns over plans to construct an open-air memorial (formerly referred to as an amphitheater) and parking garage.
All poets, fiction and non-fiction writers, screen play writers, musicians, artists, editors, illustrators and the just plain curious are invited.
