Free Mental Health Counseling with Catholic Charities

FREE Counseling services are now available as a result of a grant from the American Red Cross if you lived in Florida during the time of Hurricane Irma. There are some specifics to qualify for this program. Counseling is provided by Catholic Charities and other Catholic clinicians throughout the diocese. Rise Up In Gainesville

Rise Up is coming to Gainesville and they, along with Bishop Estévez, extend an invitation to all young people. All are invited and welcome! Saturday, August 17th, Rise Up presents an evening with Food Trucks, a FREE concert by recording artist ALOB (Andrew Laubacher) and an inspirational message by national Catholic speaker Sarah Swafford, author of Emotional Virtue. Living In Love Retreat

An energizing retreat workshop that frees husbands and wives to live in love the way they always dreamt they would. Designed to release the unbridled joy of being a man and a woman in love, the weekend consists of a series of powerful presentations that integrate insight from the sciences with St. John Paul ll’s Theology of the Body, communicated in common sense language and illustrated with real life examples. There is no large group open sharing or discussion. Saturday, Sept. 14 begins at 8 a.m. including continental breakfast and a lovely romantic dinner. Rebuilding Classes beginning September 12!

“Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends,” an educational seminar created by Dr. Bruce Fisher, is being sponsored by the Office of Family Life this Fall. This 10-week program is very beneficial to the healing process for those adjusting to the end of a love relationship through separation, divorce, abandonment, or even death.

Classes are held on Thursday evenings, 7-9pm, at Holy Family Parish Life Center, 9800 Baymeadows Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32256, September 12, 2019 through November 14, 2019. Cost is $60.00.
