March for Life St. Augustine Becomes Caravan for Life
December 21, 2020 •

Although March for Life St. Augustine has seen the faithful walking the streets of St. Augustine to fight for the sanctity of life for nearly 15 years, due to city restrictions to safeguard against COVID19, this year, the faithful will be “caravanning” for life.

Activities will commence as usual on Saturday, Jan. 16, beginning with Mass celebrated by Bishop Felipe Estévez at 9 a.m. at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, followed by activities, food trucks, speakers and music until 3 p.m. Masks are required on the shrine property.

Starting at 2 p.m., the faithful will drive their cars through the streets of St. Augustine with signs promoting the right to life. Plan to get creative and decorate your car accordingly (no graphic images, please).

Please bring a mask and hand sanitizer for yourself, and a donation of diapers for local pregnancy centers in need. Although this year’s march is unique the goal remains to keep our message present in the culture of life while keeping everyone safe.
