May Crowning at Cathedral Parish Early Education Center
May 12, 2015 • Diocese of St. Augustine

May is the month of Mary. Devotion to the Blessed Mother deserves special attention here in the United States where we are under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception.

Preschool students at Cathedral Parish Early Education Center in St. Augustine crowned Mother Mary with flowers on Monday, May 11. The students sang “Immaculate Mary” during the procession to the Mary statue, with an opening prayer by Father Tom Willis. “Our Mother” was read by Amelija Mask, while the Crowing of Mary was conducted by Queen Angelina Hemelt and King Gavin Johns. The court included Isla Cutter, Garrett Eavenson, Anthony Noga, Sophia Sloan, Tristan Sowards, and Mesa Unsworth.
