Annual Feast of St. Mary Magdalene Hosted at Most Holy Redeemer Parish
The annual celebration of the feast of St. Mary of Magdalene is Saturday, July 23 at 11 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Parish, located at 8523 Normandy Blvd. in Jacksonville. Celebrating its 14th year in Jacksonville, the event called KAWIT FIESTA is organized by the Devotees of St. Mary Magdalene who hails from the town of Kawit, Cavite, Philippines.
The traditional procession called KARAKOL will follow after the Mass leading to the reception hall. Everyone is invited to attend and bring their families especially young children and friends to experience the religious celebration of one of the Filipino traditions.
