Catholics + Baseball = Summer Fun!

There is nothing more fun than coming together to enjoy a good game of baseball and hotdogs! The Diocese of St. Augustine’s annual “Catholic Night at the Ballpark,” featuring an
evening of professional baseball between the Jacksonville Suns and the Mississippi Braves, is Friday, August 12 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville beginning at 7 p.m. The evening will also feature a post-game fireworks celebration. 

079A2441-min“Catholic Night at the Ballpark” has become an annual diocesan event, first held in 2013 with Bishop Felipe Estévez invited to throw out the first pitch. It has become a popular summer event for people of all ages including families, school teams, faculty and diocesan staff. Tickets are now available at a special group rate of $8 each in Section 114 and can be purchased online for a $1.50 per ticket convenience fee at bit.ly/29rrGZC (password: Catholic2016). Tickets can be purchased at the stadium the evening of the game, but there is no guarantee seating will be available in Section 114.
