Help for Victims of Hurricane Dorian
September 6, 2019 • Diocese of St. Augustine

There are three options for those who want to help victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas:

  • You can donate to Catholic Relief Services who are already on the ground in the Bahamas assisting in response efforts. Their link for donations is https://support.crs.org/donate/hurricane-dorian
  • For any affected areas on the American coast, relief efforts will be supported by Catholic Charities USA at http://app.mobilecause.com/form/RTKRvQ?vid=1snqm.
  • Also locally, we know of evacuees from the Bahamas that are arriving in our diocese. We will be supporting them with living essentials and any other services as needed. We currently expect about 48 women with 100 children to arrive during the next few days. If you would like to make a donation towards local assistance to evacuees please send your donation to:

Catholic Charities Bureau, Inc.

Should you chose to donate to our local Catholic Charities, I will be glad to provide you with updates on how your money is used. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Anita Hassell via email at ahassell@ccbdosa.org, or to call (904) 899-5506.
