Closing Celebration Mass for the Jubilee Year of Hope
Bishop Erik Pohlmeier invites all the faithful to the Closing Celebration Mass of the Jubilee Year of Hope on Monday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine. A reception will follow. As we conclude this holy year, we gather in gratitude for the graces received and renew our call to walk as Pilgrims of Hope in our communities. The discernment event in Spanish will be held Jan. 17 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, located at 10900 SW. 24th Ave. in Gainesville. The event is for men ages 18-35 discerning priesthood and whose primary language is Spanish. It will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and transportation will be provided from Jacksonville.
