Catholic Deaf Mass

Join the San Sebastian Deaf Ministry for a remarkable visit from Father Thomas Coughlin, OP Miss, the first deaf priest ordained in the United States and the novice director and founder of the Dominican Missionaries for the Deaf Apostolate. Father Coughlin will be visiting the Diocese of St. Augustine, and during his visit, he will be leading two Masses in ASL. The first will occur on Sunday, May 26, at 10 a.m. at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, 101 San Marco Ave., in St. Augustine. Following the Mass, the Pilgrim Center will have a delightful coffee and donut social.
The second Deaf Mass will be on Sunday, June 2, at 5 p.m. Father Coughlin will celebrate Mass in ASL at San Sebastian parish, 1112 State Road 16, in St. Augustine. After the Mass, we warmly invite everyone to join us for a fun and delicious pizza social in the Church Hall.
