Divine Mercy Sunday Program
April 7 @ 2:30 to 5:30 pm
Join us on April 7 at 2:30 p.m. for Divine Mercy Sunday at St. Joseph, 11757 Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville. Pope John Paul II declared the second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday after St. Faustina’s revelations of God’s merciful love, especially in the Passion and Resurrection of His Son. The program begins with an opening hymn followed by the blessing and veneration of the Divine Mercy image, Gospel reading and reflection, exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, including a litany to the Sacred Heart and Divine Mercy Chaplet. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will start at 3:00 p.m. To receive the extraordinary graces, one must receive Holy Communion worthily, making a good confession beforehand, stay in a state of grace, and trusting in his divine mercy. Expanded reconciliation hours will be available for your convenience on Saturday, April 6.
