2024 St. Augustine History Festival – 100 Years of History: St. Augustine & Avilés, Spain with Román A. Álvarez

The 2024 St. Augustine History Festival is set to take place on Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios in the Pilgrim Center, 101 San Marco Ave. in St. Augustine. The festival features a presentation titled “100 Years of History: St. Augustine & Avilés, Spain” with Román A. Álvarez, a Spanish historian and author.
The event starts at 2:30 p.m. with a book signing, and the first 15 attendees will receive a free signed copy of “St. Augustine – Avilés a 90 Year History of Two Sister Cities.”
The presentation will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. with limited seating available. Light refreshments and wine will be served at the event.
